Prof. George K. Karagiannidis IEEE Fellow, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece Dr. George K. Karagiannidis was born in Pithagorion, Samos Island, Greece. He received the University Diploma (5 years) and PhD degree, both in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Patras, in 1987 and 1999, respectively. From 2000 to 2004, he was a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Space Applications and Remote Sensing, National Observatory of Athens, Greece. In June 2004, he joined the faculty of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece where he is currently Professor in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Dept. and Head of Wireless Communications & Information Processing (WCIP) Group. He is also Honorary Professor at South West Jiaotong University, Chengdu, China. His research interests fall in the broad area of Digital Communications Systems and Signal processing, with emphasis on Wireless Communications, Optical Wireless Communications, Wireless Power Transfer and Applications and Communications & Signal Processing for Biomedical Engineering.Dr. Karagiannidis has published and presented more than 550 technical papers in scientific journals and international conferences. His work has received more than 28000 citations, with h-index=89 (Source: Google Scholar). Dr. Karagiannidis has been involved as General Chair, Technical Program Chair and member of Technical Program Committees in several IEEE and non-IEEE conferences. In the past, he was Editor in several IEEE journals and from 2012 to 2015 he was the Editor-in Chief of IEEE Communications Letters. Currently, he serves as Associate Editor-in Chief of IEEE Open Journal of Communications Society.He is an IEEE Fellow, recognized for his “Contributions to the performance analysis of wireless communication systems”. |

Prof. Shiwen Mao IEEE Fellow, AAIA Fellow, Auburn University, USA Shiwen Mao received his BE and ME, both in Electronic Engineering, from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 1994 and 1997, respectively. He also received a BEc in Enterprise Management from Tsinghua University in 1994 and an MS in Systems Engineering from Polytechnic University (now NYU Tandon School of Engineering), Brooklyn, NY, in 2000. He received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University in 2004. Currently, he is a Professor and Earle C. Williams Eminent Scholar, and Director of the Wireless Engineering Research and Education Center (WEREC) at Auburn University. Dr. Mao's research interest includes wireless networks, multimedia communications, and smart grid. He is a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc, 2021-2023), IEEE Council of RFID (2021-2023), and IEEE Vehicular Technology Society (VTS, 2014-2018), and a Distinguished Speaker of IEEE VTS (2018-2021). He received the SEC (Southeastern Conference) 2023 Faculty Achievement Award for Auburn, the IEEE ComSoc TC-CSR Distinguished Technical Achievement Award in 2019, the Auburn University Creative Research & Scholarship Award in 2018, the NSF CAREER Award in 2010, and several service awards from IEEE ComSoc. He is a co-recipient of the 2022 Best Journal Paper Award of IEEE ComSoc eHealth Technical Committee (TC), the 2021 Best Paper Award of Elsevier/KeAi Digital Communications and Networks Journal, the 2021 IEEE Internet of Things Journal Best Paper Award, the 2021 IEEE Communications Society Outstanding Paper Award, the IEEE Vehicular Technology Society 2020 Jack Neubauer Memorial Award, the 2018 Best Journal Paper Award and the 2017 Best Conference Paper Award from IEEE ComSoc Multimedia TC, and the 2004 IEEE Communications Society Leonard G. Abraham Prize in the Field of Communications Systems. He is a co-recipient of the Best Paper Awards from IEEE ICC 2022 and 2013, IEEE GLOBECOM 2019, 2016, and 2015, and IEEE WCNC 2015, and the Best Demo Awards from IEEE INFOCOM 2022 and IEEE SECON 2017. He is the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking and an Area Editor of ACM GetMobile. He was the General Chair of IEEE INFOCOM 2022, a TPC Chair of IEEE INFOCOM 2018, and a TPC Vice-Chair of IEEE GLOBECOM 2022. |

Prof. Pingzhi Fan IEEE Fellow, IET/CIE/CIC Fellow, Chair Professor, Southwest Jiaotong University, China Pingzhi Fan (IEEE Fellow) received the M.Sc. degree in computer science from Southwest Jiaotong University, China, in 1987, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from Hull University, U.K., in 1994. He is currently the director and distinguished professor of the Institute of Mobile Communications, Southwest Jiaotong University, China, and a visiting professor of Leeds University, UK (1997-). He served as an EXCOM Member for the IEEE Region 10, IET (IEE) Council and the IET Asia Pacific Region. He is a recipient of the UK ORS Award (1992), the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (1998, NSFC), IEEE VT Society Jack Neubauer Memorial Award (2018), IEEE SP Society SPL Best Paper Award (2018), IEEE WCSP 10-Year Anniversary Excellent Paper Award (2009-2019), IEEE/CIC ICCC Best Paper Award (2020), and IEEE WCSP2022 Best Paper Award. He served as a chief scientist of the National 973 Plan Project (National Basic Research Program of China) between 2012.1-2016.12. Prof. Yuhao Wang IET Fellow, IEEE Senior Member, Shangrao Normal University/Nanchang University, China Wang Yuhao, Professor, PhD supervisor, lET Fellow, Senior Member of lEEE, Senior member of China Communication Society, Ten Thousand Innovation and Entrepreneurship Tutor of the Ministry of Education, Vice president of Jiangxi Province Artificial lntelligence Society/Electronics Society, Distinguished Scholar of Jinggang of Jiangxi Province. He was the Dean of School of lnformation Engineering of Nanchang University, Dean of Artificial Intelligence lndustrial Institute, Director of Teaching Committee of Academic Committee of Nanchang University. He is now the Vice President of Shangrao Normal University and Director of Jiangxi Embedded System Engineering Research Center. In recent years, he has presided over and undertaken more than 20 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, major special projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, 863 program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, international cooperation program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Internet of Things special projects of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and more than 10 cooperation projects of enterprises/military science and technology. A series of innovative achievements have been made in high-speed visible light intelligent communication, new imaging technology, 5G, mobile Internet of things and depth vision. He has published more than 90 papers as the first or corresponding author, including 42 SCI papers. Prof. Marco Di Renzo IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, AAIA Fellow, Paris-Saclay University, France Marco Di Renzo received the Laurea (cum laude) and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of L’Aquila, Italy, in 2003 and 2007, respectively, and the Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches (Doctor of Science) degree from University Paris-Sud (now Paris-Saclay University), France, in 2013. Currently, he is a CNRS Research Director with the Laboratory of Signals and Systems (L2S) of Paris-Saclay University – CNRS and CentraleSupelec, Paris, France. He serves as the Coordinator of the Communications and Networks Research Area of the Laboratory of Excellence DigiCosme at Paris-Saclay University, as a Member of the Admission and Evaluation Committee of the Ph.D. School on Information and Communication Technologies at Paris-Saclay University, and as the Head of the Intelligent Physical Communications group with the Laboratory of Signals and Systems at CentraleSupelec. He serves as the Editor-in-Chief of IEEE Communications Letters. He is a founding member and a Vice Chair of the Industry Specification Group (ISG) on Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) within the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), where he serves as the Rapporteur for the work item on communication models, channel models, and evaluation methodologies. Also, he is a founding member and CNRS voting delegate of the ETSI ISG on Terahertz (THz). He is a Fellow of the IEEE, IET, and AAIA; an Ordinary Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, and the Academia Europaea; and a Highly Cited Researcher. Also, he is a Fulbright Fellow, and was a Nokia Foundation Visiting Professor and a Royal Academy of Engineering Distinguished Visiting Fellow. His recent research awards include the 2021 EURASIP Best Paper Award, the 2022 IEEE COMSOC Outstanding Paper Award, and the 2022 Michel Monpetit Prize awarded by the French Academy of Sciences. |

Prof. Jingxian Wu IEEE Senior Member, University of Arkansas, USA Jingxian Wu received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing, China, in 1998, the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 2005. He is now a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Arkansas, Favetteville. His research interests mainly focus on wireless communications and wireless networks, including high mobility wireless communications, ultra-low power communications, cooperative communications, and cross-layer optimization, etc. He has served as an Editor of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS, an Assoiate Editor of the lEEE ACCESS and an Associate Editor of the lEEE TRANSACTIONS ON VEHICULAR TECHNOLOGY from 2007 to 2011. He is the Chair of the Signal Processing and Computing for Communications Technical Committee (SPCC-TC) of IEEE Communication Society. He is also serving as the chair of the GOLD committee of IEEE Communication Society. Since 2008, Dr. Wu has received over $1.4 million U.S. dollars in research funding, from various federal or local funding agencies, such as U.S. National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of Education, AT&T, etc. He is the recipient of the William D. and Margaret A. Brown Faculty Excellence Award from the University of Arkansas in 2012, and the Outstanding Service Award from the IEEE Communication Society in 2010. |
